In our body they are an integral part of our cell walls and nerve sheaths. So consuming them is essential for our health. Cold-pressed oils from sesame, olives, rapeseed and linseed from the first pressing have the highest proportion of unsaturated fatty acids. The labels say \u201cextra nativ\u201d. Purchase only oils which are filled in dark bottles, otherwise the light vanishes most of the vitamins and bioactive substances<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Properties:<\/strong> nourishing, oily, greasy, cooling-warming, heavy. They are a little difficult to digest, but less so than animal fats<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Effect:<\/strong> they increase Kapha and decrease Vata. Oils with warming properties like sesame oil increase Pitta, cooling oils like olive oil, rapeseed or line oil is neutral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Extra tip:<\/strong> Because of the high vitamin losses during heating, it makes sense to add oil to your meal at the end. The oil can also be taken neat, 2-3 tablespoons daily. Sesame oil van be heated up, olive oil only little<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ARGAN OIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Story:<\/strong> this \u201eliquid gold\u201c is originated in Morocco. It is nourishing nerves, the brain and the sensory organs as well as the hair and skin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Properties:<\/strong> nourishing, oily, greasy, cooling, heavy and somewhat difficult to digest<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong> lots of vitamin E, provitamin A and lots of antioxidants<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Effects: <\/strong>nourishes nerves, brain, skin and hair and the immune system. Anti-cancer-effect<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Use: <\/strong>2-3 tablespoons daily on the salad or on its own &#8211; but never heat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OLIVE OIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Story: this oil is the essence of Europe\u2019s south. It is full of good vital substances. There are different qualities corning acid. The best oils have less then 0,3 percent acid and are mostly found in Crete\/Greek. The oil of ripe olives from the first pressing has more vital substances, is more \u201ealkaline\u201c which has a stronger deacidifying effect<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Properties:<\/strong> nourishing, oily, greasy, cooling, heavy and somewhat difficult to digest<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong> potassium, magnesium, phosphates as well as B vitamins, vitamin C and iron<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Effects:<\/strong> nourishes the nerves and the brain, the eyes, skin and hair, the heart muscle and the blood vessels. It also has an anti-cancer and anti-acidic&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Use:<\/strong> 2-3 tablespoons daily on salad or vegetables or pure. Heat the olive oil only little<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SESAME OIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An easily digestible oil that has the highest proportion of unsaturated fatty acids of all known edible oils<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Properties:<\/strong> nourishing, oily, greasy, warming, slightly easier to digest<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong> contains a lot of vitamins A and E, plus minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and unsaturated fatty acids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Effects:<\/strong> nourishes the nerves and brain, eyes, skin and hair. It\u2019s digestive too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Use:<\/strong> the native, cold-pressed and gently heated sesame oil is used for cooking and frying, but is also good for salads.
